St Christopher's School Open Chess Championship 2017

      2nd Al Jabal Consultancy Chess Cup

Saturday 14th of October 2017

St Christopher's School - Saar

Time:

10 AM to 5 PM

Registration:

Participation is open to all players under 16 years old (born in 2001 and after) Boys and Girls.

Fee:  

BD 5, before 12th of October 2017.  Afterwards BD 10.

No registration on the day of the championship!

Tournament System:

 Tournament will be based on the Swiss system, 9 rounds ( International Chess Program Swiss-Manager will be used for pairings and the results will be available online in real time in this link: http://chess-results.com/Tnr301667.aspx?Ian=1 )

Time control for each player is 10 minutes to finish the game ( Fide certified Digital Chess clocks will be used )

Arbiters:

The Tournament will be under supervision of International Fide Arbiters

Prizes:

Organizing Committee will award 10 prizes for general classification.

Three prizes for the best 3 players from each category Under 14, 12 , 10 and 8 years old.

Three prizes for top Bahraini players.

Three prizes for best players from St Christopher's School - Saar.

Five prizes for best girls.

Special prize: youngest participant.

T-Shirt & Certificates for all participants
